ATV 2022 News Roundup

2022 has been a busy year for ATV Corporation and its distribution partners worldwide. This news roundup looks back on some of the key moments.

xD3 Firmware v1.30 Release

Back in March, ATV released a firmware update for the xD3 module sold with EXS Series Kits.

The xD3 version 1.30 firmware includes enhancements to improve pad triggering as well as a delete kit feature.

ATV at NAMM Show 2022

ATV had a great NAMM Show working alongside our US distribution partner Edrumcenter. The booth was constantly busy with drummers keen to try out aDrums and our new flagship EXS Series model - EXS-5SK artist.

Introducing EXS-5SK artist

At NAMM Show, ATV officially introduced the EXS-5SK artist.

EXS-5SK artist combines the aDrums kick (aD-K18) and snare (aD-S13) with the ever-popular EXS-5 model. The kit still retains a compact footprint and has excellent stability and feel.

ATV Sound Tour

In 2022, ATV launched the online Sound Tour application.

Sound Tour is a drum pattern player that demonstrates the great sounds of EXS series kits. Sound Tour was developed so that drummers interested in EXS Series electronic drums can play the various kits using rhythm patterns recorded by ATV artist Katsuhiko Endo. It's a lot of fun!

ATV Global Blog: Product Focus Articles

In 2022, ATV started to regularly publish 'Product Focus' blog articles that take a more in-depth look at the features of ATV drums, cymbals, and modules.

This ongoing series of articles is also designed to address the most common questions we've been asked by drummers. If you have a suggestion for a product focus topic, please let us know!
